Asset Liability Management (ALM) Officer / Treasury Dealer - Banking

Robert Half Financial Services are hiring for an Asset Liability Management (ALM) Officer role at an International Bank located in midtown Manhattan New York. Our client requires 10+ years Asset Liability Management (ALM), Money Market Trading or Treasury Dealer experience at a Bank. Must have knowledge of ALM strategy, Portfolio Management, Liquidity, Risk, FX, and Fixed Income. The role is full time in office 5 days per week in the midtown Manhattan office, requiring a 7am EST start time.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: develop liability-driven investment strategies to support the bank’s growth product and services offerings
- Manage liquidity risk indicators and operating limits.
- Analyze and monitor interest rate risk (IRR) exposures in various stress testing environments
- Conduct duration gap analysis, sensitivity analysis, and other market value analytics
- Reporting & Analysis: Produce reports summarizing balance sheet forecasts, net interest income (NII) sensitivity profiles, and interest rate risk metrics
- Data & Modeling: Design and specify data mapping processes to transform source system data into standardized ALM staging structures
- Collaboration: Serve as the main point of contact for Investments, Risk, Finance, and Pricing within the markets we serve coordinate with business units, risk, and group finance/actuarial on ALM and market risk issues
- Hedging Programs: Design, implement, and manage derivative hedging programs to mitigate interest rate and currency risks
- Assumption Management: Partner with business units to create, support, and document modeling assumptions; review and challenge assumptions for accuracy
- Regulatory & Stress Testing: Assist with CCAR modeling and testing as needed
- Balance Sheet Monitoring: Track and analyze investment, loan, deposit, and long-term debt portfolios, identifying key drivers of interest rate risk
Qualifications:
- 10+ years Asset Liability Management (ALM), Money Market Trading or Treasury Dealer experience at a Bank
- Must have knowledge of ALM strategy, Portfolio Management, Liquidity, Risk, FX, and Fixed Income.
- Must be able to start at 7am EST and be in office 5 days per week
- Bachelor or Master degree in a Finance/Math/Engineering based subject
The Asset Liability Management (ALM) Officer role is 5 days per week in the midtown Manhattan office with a 7am EST start time, so please only apply if you are able to travel to this location, have relevant experience for the role and are eligible to work in the United States.
