We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer who is excited about taking on complex issues associated with water/wastewater/water resources and building electrical systems for our clients.This role is based in Gainesville, Florida; however, we are open to qualified candidates located throughout the state of Florida, including Tampa, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and surrounding areas.This position will require you to work independently and as part of larger multi-disciplinary teams. Design your career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow, and succeed – today and into tomorrow.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDetailed knowledge and experience in the electrical discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplinesUnderstand and apply discipline codes, standards, and legislationAbility to complete field investigations of electrical installationsAbility to support local construction activities and respond to technical Requests for Information (RFI) in a timely mannerPower system design for municipal and industrial loadsLighting design proficiency in industrial settingsAbility to use CAD tools (SKM, AGI32, and MicroStation)Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, showing resilience, emotional composure, and self-managementAbility to lead discipline teams, including engineers and techniciansAble to mentor and train junior team membersExcellent communication and presentation skills (spoken and written)Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating commitment to achieving group objectivesHere's What You'll NeedB.S. in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent, plus applicable registrationsMinimum 10+ years' relevant industry experience preferredProfessional Engineering license in FloridaIdeally, You'll Also HaveMaster's degree in Electrical EngineeringExperience within the Water and Wastewater MarketOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
