Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) | Vermont (Berlin & Middlebury Locations)

Our client is seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to provide leadership and operational oversight for skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Vermont. This executive leadership opportunity is ideal for a healthcare administrator with a strong background in long-term care operations, regulatory compliance, financial management, staff development, and resident-centered care.

• Berlin, VT
• Middlebury, VT

Candidates must be willing to work onsite at one of the Vermont locations.

• Salary Range: $127,795 – $191,692
• Sign-On Bonus: Negotiable

• Reports To: VP, Long Term Care Operations

Required Qualifications

• Active Nursing Home Administrator License (LNHA).
• Vermont Nursing Home Administrator License (or eligibility to obtain).
• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of Nursing Home Administrator experience.
• Previous experience as an LNHA or Assistant Administrator in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Strong leadership, operational, financial, and regulatory knowledge.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of Nursing Home Administrator experience.
• Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field.
• Experience leading skilled nursing, assisted living, or long-term care communities.
• Proven success improving quality measures, survey outcomes, and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall operational and administrative leadership for the facility.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local long-term care regulations.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, staffing, and resource management.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and resident satisfaction programs.
• Develop and mentor department leaders and staff.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, and community partners.
• Lead strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives.
• Monitor facility performance metrics and implement action plans for improvement.
• Ensure a safe, compliant, and resident-centered environment.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to achieve organizational goals.
