Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement curriculum in alignment with state standards, incorporating Christian values into lesson plans. Foster an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and spiritual reflection. Biblical Integration: Infuse Christian teachings and values into daily lessons across subjects. Lead students in prayer, devotions, and discussions that nurture spiritual growth. Teaching and Instruction: Provide effective and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. Encourage active participation and inquiry-based learning. Spiritual Mentorship: Serve as a spiritual mentor to students, promoting a love for God, others, and learning. Conduct and participate in chapel services, prayer meetings, and other spiritual activities. Character Development: Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture. Model and reinforce Christian values such as love, kindness, humility, and integrity. Parent and Community Engagement: Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement. Engage with the local Christian community and involve parents in spiritual and educational events. Collaboration: Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administrators to enhance the overall educational and spiritual experience for students. Participate in professional development activities to stay current with educational and spiritual trends. Crisis and Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts or concerns in a Christ-like manner, promoting reconciliation and understanding. Provide emotional and spiritual support during challenging times. Cultural Sensitivity: Embrace and respect the diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives of students. Create an inclusive environment that celebrates the uniqueness of each student. Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety and well-being of students both academically and spiritually. Follow established procedures for emergency preparedness and crisis intervention. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field. Teaching certification and/or licensure. Strong commitment to the Christian faith and adherence to Christian principles. Experience in integrating Christian teachings into the curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bethany Learning Academy
