Production Supervisor

The Panther Group is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a leading precision manufacturing company in Nashua, NH.This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily production operations, supporting manufacturing processes, and ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and customer commitments are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate is a strong manufacturing leader who enjoys mentoring employees, troubleshooting production challenges, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and supervise Production Team Leaders and Laser Operators.Plan and execute daily production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.Allocate personnel and resources to maximize productivity while minimizing downtime.Monitor production performance, quality, and efficiency, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions when needed.Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshoot manufacturing processes.Conduct new hire orientation, safety training, and ongoing employee development.Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Review production records, maintain inventory of production supplies, and support product shipment activities.Manage employee time records, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary matters in partnership with Human Resources.Partner with the Quality team to support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with ISO and FDA standards.Foster strong communication and collaboration across departments and shifts.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).Ability to work independently while leading a production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Preferred QualificationsAssociate's degree.5+ years of technical manufacturing experience.5+ years of progressive supervisory experience.Experience working in an ISO and/or FDA-regulated manufacturing environment.Pay rate up to $32.69 per hour Depending on experience#INDENG #J-18808-Ljbffr
