Ultrasound Technologist - OBGYN

Perform ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions.

Minimum requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a specialized training program in Ultrasonic Technology or on-the-job training with a registered sonographer preferred.
• Experience: One year of experience performing ultrasound procedures in a hospital, clinic or physician's office preferred.
• Knowledge, skills, abilities: Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. Knowledge of physician office procedures, ICD-9 and CPT coding guidelines. Knowledge of ultrasound equipment and procedures, protocols and safety hazards common to administering ultrasounds.
