Position Title Assistant District Attorney, District 18 Location Pittsburg County (McAlester, OK) Employment Details Full-time, Immediate Opening Closing: Open until filled Salary: $70,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience Benefits: Full State of Oklahoma benefits, including generous monthly allowance for health coverage, paid sick and vacation leave, paid holidays, and longevity. Job Description The 18th Prosecutorial District for Pittsburg and Haskell Counties is seeking a full-time Assistant District Attorney for the Pittsburg County Office in McAlester to begin immediately. Caseload assignments will primarily be general felonies, violent crimes, and property crimes, as well as the criminal misdemeanor and traffic dockets, and is subject to change based on caseload and applicant’s interest and experience. Education and Experience Prior prosecution experience is preferred but not required. Juris Doctorate (JD) from accredited law school. Admitted and in good standing with the Oklahoma Bar Association; will consider candidates licensed.
