About the Role
We are seeking a Facilities Technician II to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the mechanical and electrical performance of facilities and utilities equipment at our site. The position involves working with various systems including vacuum, compressed air, emergency generation, power, city and well water, and HVAC equipment. The Facilities Technician II will also coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure a complete stock of spare parts and execute maintenance procedures based on equipment manuals and reliability history.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities and utilities equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Contact suppliers and vendors to maintain spare parts inventory.
• Establish and execute maintenance procedures and frequencies.
• Report maintenance results to peers and clients.
• Administer the computerized preventive maintenance system (Maximo).
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for miscellaneous work.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct minor maintenance and repairs on facility areas such as flooring, walls, plumbing, lighting, and more.
• Perform electrical installations and wiring, plumbing installations, and flooring repairs
• Escort contractors and vendors on-site.
• Install minor equipment and organize small projects.
• Assist with HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Train and mentor Facilities Technician I as needed.
• Manage site security systems, including security badging and CCTV systems.
• Assist with furniture moving and conference room setup.
• Exhibit professional behavior with internal and external business associates.
• Understand quality consequences and device defects related to job responsibilities.
• Comply with established business policies and demonstrate commitment to Quality Management System.
  Education Qualification
• High School diploma required.
  Required Skills
• 2-4 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a medical or health-related environment.
• General carpentry, electrical, HVAC, flooring, and plumbing skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Word and Outlook.
• Ability to work with a variety of people on multiple tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptable and willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities.
• Independent, collaborative self-starter with decision-making abilities.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Attention to detail, initiative, and strong communication skills.
