QA/QC Project Manager- Data Center Construction

QA/QC Project Manager - Data Center Construction Full‑time position. Responsibilities Effectively manage and collaborate with project stakeholders. Communicate efficiently across internal teams to ensure consistency and delivery to the client. Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip. Verify that effective project governance, processes, and systems are utilized. Ensure application of best practice on all projects. Produce formal project status reports and other required reports. Monitor progress of multiple construction projects to ensure approved design standards are applied correctly. Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews. Manage flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications. Forecast and update key project milestones. Monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria. Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors, and regional stakeholders. Respond rapidly to RFIs from the field. Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required. Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers. Client management – assist in developing excellent working relationships with clients. Strategic thinking – advise project teams on approaches that help achieve client and business objectives. Knowledge management – ensure key information and learnings from each project are captured. Process improvement – identify ways to improve internal systems and processes. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role where applicable. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or an applicable bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience. Minimum 5–7 years of relevant project management experience, specifically working with mechanical systems in the built environment. Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team. Background in design or construction with mechanical or BMS controls experience. Background in vendor equipment factory supporting quality control processes of mechanical equipment. Background in commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment in mission‑critical data centers. Proficiency managing construction documents including BODs, specifications, contract drawings, C/D/E’s, equipment submittals and RFIs. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, Project, Smartsheets, and other construction project management tools.
