The opportunity Our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team is growing exponentially, and as a Manager in our Transactions group you will play a critical role in shaping and sustaining that momentum. Working across a broad range of industries, you will advance your career by developing and communicating innovative, strategic solutions both internally and with clients. Your Key Responsibilities Every project is unique. You must develop a deep understanding of complex accounting areas and use that knowledge to think on your feet, challenge existing practices, and help clients develop answers to complex issues. You’ll collaborate with colleagues within FAAS and across multiple service lines, building relationships and identifying opportunities to bring insights across all disciplines beyond accounting. Regular travel may be required to meet key clients. Skills and Attributes for Success Consult with clients on complex and technical accounting issues Collaborate with partners, senior managers, and clients to influence strategy, balancing risk and client expectations Ensure the Engagement team thoroughly understands clients’ unique needs, ambitions, and expectations Build relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service Manage performance and identify opportunities to improve products and processes To qualify for the role you must have A bachelor’s degree, CPA certification, and 2‑5 years work experience preferably as an auditor in a public accounting firm Strong technical writing and presentation skills A thorough understanding of US GAAP Exposure or interest in revenue recognition, share‑based payments, financial asset transfers such as securitizations and factoring agreements, consolidations, and equity‑method accounting Exposure to strategic transactions, such as business combinations, M&As, and joint ventures An understanding of the financial services industry and commonly used terminology, processes, and tools A proven record of excellence when managing, mentoring, and improving a high‑performing team The confidence to research and resolve emerging client issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies What We Look For We seek versatile people who can take on new responsibilities and listen to clients to help them meet their goals.
