Google Cloud Logistics Area Manager

Own the End-to-End daily logistics operations management, including material and information flow. Also manage third-party logistics (3PL) vendor operating warehouse and data centers in assigned locations.Manage and monitor metrics for key performance indicators (KPIs), vendor performance scorecards, and development of business cases to support logistics process changes and/or improvements.Develop and implement a comprehensive forward/reverse logistics strategy that aligns with the organization's long-term goals.Identify opportunities for cost savings, MTTR reduction, and capacity optimization through innovative logistics solutions.Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the operations team.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting logistics operations. 10 years of experience working in domestic and international environments.7 years of experience managing operations and leading cross-regional teams.Preferred qualifications:Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience.10 years of experience using data analysis to drive decision making.10 years of experience in managing vendor and outsourced providers.10 years of experience in scaled and supplier operations and project management.10 years of experience building relationships with stakeholders or clients.Knowledge of SQL, analytics and Operations Six Sigma certification (or other relevant operations coursework).A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all.
