We’re looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Islandia, NY area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. Assistant Manager Responsibilities Enforce established policies, procedures and standards. Schedule mechanics/technicians work. Manage outside orders. Ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs. Meet customer expectations and maintain the safety of team members. Service Manager Responsibilities Assist customers with tire selections and recommend necessary under‑car repair services. Direct the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians and stage vehicle repair/maintenance work. Communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs and provide necessary information. Ensure customers are satisfied with their in‑store experience and strive to meet expectations. Qualifications Eligibility requirements: at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States, and one of the following: 1‑year experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales; 1‑year experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance; or any combination of education, training and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
