Summary of Major Responsibilities:

Therapists at Prosperous Health The Valley provide direct clinical services to clients, including individual, group, and family therapy. Reporting to the Clinical Supervisor, this role focuses on delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support clients recovery and mental health goals. Therapists play a crucial role in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that enables clients to heal and thrive.

Detailed Duty Statement:

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with clinical goals and best practices.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize client outcomes.
• Participate in case reviews, clinical supervision, and team meetings to ensure consistency and quality of care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
• Stay current on advancements in therapeutic techniques and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
• Educate clients and their families on coping strategies, recovery resources, and mental health conditions to empower them in their journey.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality in all client interactions.
• And other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Needed:

• Licensed-Level: Current licensure as an AMFT, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in California.
• Masters degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, preferably in outpatient or residential settings.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in therapy, such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or Motivational Interviewing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.
• Commitment to ethical practice and client-centered care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
