About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its Family Center. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and persuasive leader, responsible for the center's overall operations, programs, and staff. This role requires a results-driven individual with a passion for building strong teams, creating impactful programs, and inspiring community engagement. The Executive Director will manage the operational budget, oversee key areas such as membership, wellness, aquatics, sports, and family and youth programs, and ensure the center meets the needs of a diverse and expanding population. Key responsibilities include recruiting and retaining a high-performing team, developing and implementing quality programs, and maximizing facility and equipment usage. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, a minimum of 5 years in operations management, and a minimum of 3 years in fiscal management. Experience in working with volunteers, particularly in a board leadership capacity, is highly preferred. The role also involves collaborating with the community, including the local government, to foster strategic partnerships and ensure the center remains a vibrant hub for community, wellness, and connection. The Executive Director will be a key steward of the company's strategic partnerships, working closely with the City of Tavares and Lake County Government in the continued development of the regional park and facility.
