As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a results-driven, detail-oriented Leasing Manager to help us maximize occupancy across our single-family rental portfolio and deliver a seamless experience to future residents. The Role — A Day in the Life of a Leasing Manager at DoorvestAs a Leasing Manager at Doorvest, you’ll own the entire leasing process—from listing to lease execution—ensuring our homes are leased quickly, competitively, and to well-qualified residents. You’ll partner with vendors, property managers, and marketing to drive conversions and occupancy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on speed, has a strong grasp of leasing operations, and is motivated by targets. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, improve systems, and move homes from “vacant” to “leased” with urgency and care. Leasing Strategy & Execution • Manage listings across platforms to ensure every vacancy is accurately and attractively marketed • Respond promptly to leasing inquiries, schedule tours, and follow up with prospective residents • Qualify leads and coordinate with application processing to ensure applicants meet Doorvest criteria • Track each property’s leasing pipeline and take proactive steps to avoid extended vacancies • Adjust pricing and marketing strategies based on market feedback and performance data Resident Experience & Communication • Act as a knowledgeable and friendly guide throughout the leasing journey—from first inquiry to signed lease • Ensure that every applicant has a smooth, responsive experience • Set the tone for positive, long-term resident relationships starting with move-in readiness • Handle pre-move-in coordination, documentation, and lease execution Performance Management & Collaboration • Own key leasing KPIs: vacancy days, lease conversion rate, lead-to-application rate • Collaborate with Property Managers, Renovations, and Maintenance to keep homes rent-ready • Partner with Marketing to optimize listing visibility and lead flow • Identify operational gaps and propose improvements to accelerate lease-up timelines Who We’re Looking For Conversion-Oriented Hustler You’re energized by hitting goals and filling homes. You know that every vacancy costs money—and you take that personally. Organized and Detail-DrivenYou manage dozens of properties and leads with clarity. Your follow-ups are timely, your documentation is complete, and your pipeline is clean. Clear Communicator You’re proactive with both prospective residents and internal stakeholders. You keep things moving, and you keep everyone in the loop. Customer-Centered You’re the first impression of Doorvest for future residents—and you treat that with pride. You believe leasing is service, not sales.
