Our team is responsible for managing subcontract operations, ensuring compliance and supporting program needs.What You Will Be Doing:As the Subcontract Program Management Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of buyers placing POs for the Mid-Tier Major Subcontracts Team, supporting programs across all of Missiles and Fire Control. You will play a critical role in enabling your team to succeed and driving results that meet program objectives. Your responislble will include, but not limited to: Assigning daily work and level-loading workload acrss the team of buyers to ensure optimal productivityReviewing and approving Purchase Order packages as a Delegation of Authority (DOA)Training and developing your team on LMAP, MFC GSC Work Instructions and Procurement Systems to ensure SOC's compliane goal is metManaging expedite requests and quick-turn needs for programsEnsuring buying team updates PR Insights weekly, manages unacknowledged POs and meets program deadlinesEnsure team is sending out RFPs and supporting front end proposal process for customer submittalBasic QualificationsWorking knowledge of FAR/DFAR and Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)Prior professional experience working Supply Chain Management (SCM) fundamentals including processes, procedures, policies, systems and overall understanding of subcontractsExperience with Subcontractor Requests for Proposals (RFPs)Strong communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of managementDesired SkillsBachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent expreience/combined education, with 8+ years of professional experienceExperience in S4/HanaExperience using SAP and Procure to Pay (P2P)Experience with different contracting typesExperience leading a large, diverse remote teamAbility to balance competing priorites and make sound decisionsPay InformationGeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States.
