Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift: 18:45 - 07:15, with a requirement to work every other weekend.
The Registered Nurse will provide quality nursing care to patients in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting. This position requires a keen focus on specialized treatment for individuals who have suffered severe injuries or illnesses, including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and major surgeries. The role entails developing and implementing rehabilitation programs tailored to patients' needs while striving to maximize their health and quality of life.
- Administer medications and treatment as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment and recovery.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Must have a valid RN license.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience is necessary.
- Experience in rehabilitation is preferred.
