Packaging Worker - Second Shift

Location:          On-Site
Terms:               Full-time, TEMP to HIRE, Hourly position ( Hours may vary based on orders).
Schedule:         Second Shift (2:30-11:00p) Mon - Fri 
( Occasional Saturdays may be required based on orders and/or season).
Wages: $16.50 per hour (Second Shift .50 per hour differential included)

Responsibilities

• Transfer products based on daily orders.
• Inspect products to ensure accurate counts on production materials.
• Confirm all products are properly moved/labeled.
• Operate Machines.
• Perform cleaning duties.
• Meet the specifics of production orders in a timely manner.
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds using hands and fingers.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours or more at a time.
• Able to bend, stand, and twist to complete the task.
• Push and pull racks loaded with product.
• Use forms to keep records of items produced

Work Environment
The physical demands described represent those that must be met to perform the essential functions of the job. The employee may be exposed to smoke from smokehouses and tolerate both hot and cold environments, sharp objects, cutting machines, and fast-moving equipment.
