Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

- Hold a valid NM Special Education Teaching License

- Commitment to implementing IEPs and tailoring strategies for individual learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Adapt general education lessons to meet each student’s needs and abilities
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service staff
- Engage families and caregivers in the educational process
- Track progress and maintain documentation as required by state standards and school policy
