Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Current NM Special Education Teaching License required
- Strong commitment to student-centered education
- Adaptability in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- Experience working with diverse learners across K-12 is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver specialized instruction tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Establish and monitor measurable goals through collaborative IEP development with families and related service providers
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment to empower every learner
- Track student progress and document achievement in accordance with district and state standards
- Communicate proactively with parents, staff, and administrators regarding student progress and needs
- Embrace innovative strategies and technologies to engage students at all ability levels
