Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist
Location: Lafayette, CO 80026
Contract: 13 Weeks of contract
Shift: 10-Hour Days | Rotating Day Off | On-Call: Night & Weekend Call Required
Call Requirement: Must be within 30 minutes of the facility while on call


Pay Rate:

• Local: $65/hr on W2
• Travel: $2,850.78/Weekly (Stipends: $1730.78 included)

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Sonographer / Echo Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations under physician direction. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of cardiac ultrasound/echocardiography experience and be skilled in producing high-quality diagnostic images.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound/echocardiography procedures.
• Review patient history and select appropriate imaging protocols.
• Explain procedures, obtain informed consent, and properly position patients.
• Perform diagnostic exams and assess patient condition throughout the procedure.
• Obtain and evaluate high-quality images for completeness and diagnostic accuracy.
• Prepare images and required documentation for physician interpretation.
• Accurately document patient information, exam findings, and related care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain proper infection control, patient safety, and equipment standards.
• Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance or service issues.

Requirements

• 1+ year of cardiac ultrasound / echocardiography experience.
• Active ARDMS registration OR RCS (CCI) certification.
• BLS (AHA) - Required.
