Bookkeeper

As Professional Products of Kansas, Inc., continues to grow and evolve, we're seeking a high-energy, motivated, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. This role combines bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative responsibilities, making it ideal for a professional who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping financial and operational processes running smoothly.

Our patented RTV silicone rubber technologies help protect infrastructure and commercial properties across North America from water intrusion and graffiti. As a growing and evolving organization, we continue to expand our reach, enhance our products, and invest in the people who drive our success.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and cash receipts.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of journal entries, financial statements, and month-end reports.
• Support month-end close activities and maintain the general ledger.
• Resolve billing issues and assist vendors and customers.
• Track inventory and maintain vendor records.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in bookkeeping, AP/AR, inventory management, and financial reporting.
• Bookkeeping certification a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems (Sage/Peachtree)
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations and journal entries required. GAAP principles preferred.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team while providing outstanding customer service.
• Willingness to work 25 hours onsite at our Wichita, KS office and enjoys being part of a supportive team in a growing, entrepreneurial environment.

Salary:

$22.00 - $25.00 an hour based on experience.
