CNC Mill Machinist

Randstad is partnering with a premiere global aerospace and defense manufacturer in Bohemia, NY, to find a skilled NC Milling Operator. This role is responsible for setting up and operating numerically controlled milling machinery to fabricate high-precision components. salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC milling machines to produce precise aerospace parts according to engineering plans and specifications.

• Load raw materials, install correct cutting tooling, and monitor machining sequences to detect errors or tool wear.

• Use precision inspection instruments (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators) to verify part dimensions meet tight tolerances.

• Maintain clear documentation regarding job setups, run times, and quality control metrics.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
