Job Description

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design therapy strategies to help them reach their personal functional benchmarks.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ research-based interventions to bolster patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, healthcare providers, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive and integrative patient care.
• Guide Patients and Family Members: Train patients and their families in therapy methods to encourage continuous progress at home.
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor patient outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maintain engagement and progress.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ongoing education or specialized certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Current and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
