Facility Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary Legends Global is a fully integrated partner for live events, venues, and brands. This role focuses on maintaining facility systems and supporting event operations to ensure reliable service and safety. Responsibilities Assist with proper and efficient operation of the Building Management System (BMS). Provide technical support and oversee repairs and maintenance of all facility systems and equipment. Maintain all equipment according to factory specifications and enter preventive maintenance information into the Altum Maintenance Program. Utilize the Work Order and Maintenance Manager systems effectively. Adhere to OSHA, NFPA, and other applicable safety codes. Analyze needs and plan preventive maintenance programs and upgrades for systems. Monitor repair activity to minimize downtime and disruption to facility event activity. Set up and tear down event-related services, including phone and internet, power, A/V, and lighting. Perform other job duties as assigned. Qualifications Good communication skills. Working knowledge of major facility systems such as HVAC, electrical, security, mechanical, and fire safety. Ability to plan, organize, direct, and motivate the activities of maintenance staff. Working knowledge of computer‑controlled systems. Ability to communicate on a technical level as needed to maintain facility operating systems. Education & Experience Graduate of an accredited technical school. Minimum of three years’ experience in the operation and maintenance of a public assembly, hotel, or other commercial facility. Experience operating a forklift and aerial lift is preferred but training will be provided if necessary. Skills and Abilities Excellent organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of staff, including management. Strong customer service skills. Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic. Ability to work irregular/extended hours, including night and weekend duties. Proficient computer skills for operating BMS and other automated systems. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Physical Demands Heavy lifting, climbing, stooping, crawling, and equipment operation; must be able to lift 50 pounds. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Work both indoors and outdoors; subject to adverse conditions.
