Working within an Agile Scrum team, you will translate customer requirements and contract obligations into actionable plans, travel to remote locations for installations and troubleshooting, and provide status updates to program personnel. Flexibility to respond to real-world events, including nights and weekends, is essential.This position is based at a Lockheed Martin facility in Colorado Springs, CO. The role requires flexibility to travel to alternate work locations as needed (valid passport required).As leader of the C2BMC team, Lockheed Martin directs a partnership of highly responsive industry leaders developing and fielding the backbone of America's missile defense. Together, this national team supports the design, development, test, integration and fielding of hardware and software elements that enable the Missile Defense System (MDS) to function effectively and continually. You will also have the opportunity to interface with our key customers in the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).You are a motivated, US-citizen network professional with a solid foundation in network design and troubleshooting. You communicate clearly—both in writing and presentations—collaborate effectively within a high-performing engineering team, and can operate independently on large field projects. This requires US Citizenship and the candidate must have a valid US passport.An 8140 compliant certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SSCP, CISSP, CISA).Foundational knowledge of network design, OSI model, TCP/IP, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).Ability to travel to alternate work locations for deployments and field projects.Strong written and oral communication skills; proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio.Desired SkillsExperience with multi vendor switching/routing (Juniper, Cisco) and WAN optimizers.Proficiency in firewall technologies (Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto).Knowledge of UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE tunnels, and advanced TCP/IP designs.Hands on expertise with network traffic analysis, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.Familiarity with TACLANE devices and optical transport equipment.Ability to work within Agile/Scrum frameworks and manage contract driven deliverables.Preferred: Active Top Secret clearance.This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretThe annual base salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.
