Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Accounts Payable Clerk for our client. This position is responsible for processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting daily accounting operations.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Match vendor invoices to purchase orders, receivers, packing lists, and pricing documentation.
• Enter vendor invoices accurately into the ERP system.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing issues, and credit memos.
• Process employee expense reports and driver invoices.
• Prepare weekly ACH payments and check runs.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account status.
• Maintain accurate vendor files and accounting records.
• Reconcile invoices and supporting documentation to ensure payment accuracy.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and other accounting functions as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues.
• Support the accounting team with additional administrative and financial tasks as assigned.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience processing invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments.
• Knowledge of three-way matching (purchase orders, receipts, and invoices).
• Experience preparing ACH and check payments.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills for vendor interactions.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
