American manufacturing will always be a pillar of our brand, and we proudly transform all our suppressors in Millcreek, Utah. Our team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable professionals is looking for a Human Resources Support Specialist to become an integral part of our operations.

Position Summary

HUXWRX Safety Co. is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Human Resources Support Specialist to provide administrative support to the HR Director and exceptional support to our employees. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, compassionate, and enjoys creating organization and helping others. This role offers opportunities to grow and learn additional HR functions and take on increased responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR Director.
• Serve as a welcoming, professional, and helpful point of contact for employees seeking general assistance or direction.
• Maintain organization within the HR department and assist with organizing materials, records, supplies, and common-use areas.
• Assist with document scanning, electronic filing, record organization, and other administrative projects.
• Assist with employee luncheons, meetings, company events, and other employee engagement activities.
• Assist with preparing materials, coordinating logistics, organizing supplies, and completing follow-up activities related to company events.
• Handle information encountered through the HR department with appropriate discretion and professionalism.
• Learn HR processes and procedures and assume additional HR-related responsibilities as knowledge and experience develop.
• Perform other duties and special projects assigned by the HR Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related area is a plus.
• Minimum two years of administrative, office support, customer service or related experience.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to bring structure and order to multiple areas and projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional, patient, compassionate, and approachable when working with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated dependability and willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow projects through to completion, meeting deadlines.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain appropriate confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly operates a computer and other standard office equipment.
•  Regularly moves throughout offices, buildings, and production environments to provide employee and administrative support.
• Occasionally moves supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Occasionally positions self to access supplies, files, cabinets, and storage areas.
