Career Growth: Tuition Assistance to pursue your BSN or MSN Generous PTO to balance work and life 401K with Employer Match for your future Employee Referral Program – bring a friend, earn rewards A workplace culture rooted in respect and teamwork What You’ll Do: Provide hands‑on nursing care and lead a dedicated CNA team Monitor residents’ conditions and support individualized care plans Safely manage and administer medications Ensure resident dignity, preferences, and quality of life remain top priorities Collaborate with leadership and fellow healthcare professionals to deliver excellence in care Scheduling Options: Night Shift: 6 p.m.–6 a.m. What We’re Looking For Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State Experience in long‑term care or geriatric nursing preferred, but not required Strong communication and leadership skills A compassionate, respectful approach to resident care Responsibilities Respond immediately to residents’ requests Supervise nursing care services and staff on all units while on duty Actively promote facility safety programs May assume responsibility as the Infection Preventionist Nurse Assume responsibility for nursing services in the absence of the Assistant Director of Nursing Services and/or Director of Nursing Services Skills/Competencies Effective problem‑solving skills Caring, compassionate and empathetic attitude Able to relate well with residents, families and co‑workers Exceptional customer service Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Team‑focused demeanor Strong supervisory skills for managing and coordinating care of residents Qualifications Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role Interest or experience in geriatrics Current BLS/CPR Experience with dementia population desirable Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate or more advanced level EOE Statement WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
