Minimum 1 year of CV Rad Tech experience required Compensation: $72.31 - $85.88 As a Cardiovascular Radiology Technician, you will play a vital role in our cardiovascular imaging department. You will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic procedures using specialized imaging equipment to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. Responsibilities Operate and maintain specialized cardiovascular imaging equipment including angiography machines, fluoroscopy systems, and ultrasound machines. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the examination. Position patients correctly for imaging procedures, ensuring optimal image quality and accurate diagnosis. Administer contrast media as necessary for imaging procedures, following established protocols and ensuring patient safety. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to obtain and interpret imaging results. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures performed, imaging results, and any relevant patient information. Adhere to established safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines. Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives within the cardiovascular imaging department. Provide support and assistance to other members of the healthcare team as needed. Qualifications Current California and ARRT Registered X-Ray license Current California Fluoroscopy License Current BCLS/ACLS certification Minimum 2 years training at an approved school of Radiologic Technology 1 year CV Rad Tech experience in an acute care setting.
