Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for picking parts with an RF scanner and palletizing orders using a stand-up forklift. This position requires comfort with heights, as you will be working up to 27 feet high. You will also have the opportunity to operate an electric stock chaser or pack mule with appropriate training.
Responsibilities

• Pick parts using an RF scanner.
• Palletize orders using a stand-up forklift.
• Operate equipment at high altitudes, including Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Stand-Up Dock Trucks, and Sit-Down Forklifts.
• Receive, bin, pick, pack, and ship customer orders safely and accurately.
• Utilize the Manhattan Warehouse Management System.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing safety shoes and approved eye protection.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, kneeling, stooping, walking, and standing for extended periods.

Essential Skills

• Experience with forklifts, specifically stand-up and reach forklifts.
• Experience with material handling equipment.
• Rolling stock certification for Reach Truck, Stock Picker, Dock Truck/Stand-Up Forklift.
• Reliability and time or task-sensitive focus.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System is advantageous.
• Team-building skills, integrity, and trust.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand or walk for 67-100% of the time.
• Ability to climb ladders or stairs.
• Flexibility to work overtime and flexible hours as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
