Accountant Clerk

Accountant ClerkOur client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant Clerk to join their team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits. Experienced with government agency would be helpful but not required.As an Accountant Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily financial and accounting tasks of our company. You will work closely with the Accounting Manager and other team members to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.Key Responsibilities:Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactionsPrepare and issue invoices to clientsReconcile bank statements and credit card transactionsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesMaintain accurate and organized financial recordsAssist with budgeting and forecasting processesCommunicate with vendors and clients regarding payment inquiriesSupport the Accounting Manager with ad-hoc tasks and projects as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeepingProficiency in MS Office and accounting software, such as QuickBooksStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principlesThey offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and development within the agency.
