About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Environmental, Health, and Safety to spearhead all EHS initiatives for a significant U.S. expansion project. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of EHS strategies that ensure regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and environmental stewardship. This role is pivotal in supporting the entire lifecycle of a new manufacturing operation, from site selection and facility design to commissioning, start-up, and long-term operations. The Head of EHS will also be the subject matter expert for Process Safety Management and risk management programs, driving sustainability initiatives, and leading a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, life sciences, or a related technical discipline, with a minimum of 10 years' progressive EHS leadership experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in OSHA, EPA, process safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental compliance, and sustainability programs, particularly in GMP-regulated manufacturing settings. Hands-on experience with PHA, HAZOP, LOPA, MOC, and process risk management methodologies is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of influencing and leading cross-functional teams and be prepared to relocate to a future manufacturing site as the project evolves.
