Take the next step in your career with us!Position Specific DescriptionThe Maintenance Department Head leads the restoration and long-term sustainment of the maintenance organization at Duane Arnold Energy Center as the plant returns to commercial nuclear operation. This role is responsible for rebuilding a high-performing maintenance workforce, driving execution of facility and system restoration activities, and establishing the programs and culture required for safe, reliable nuclear operations. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise across maintenance disciplines, proven supervisory or management experience in a nuclear environment, and the leadership presence to develop next-generation nuclear workers while delivering results in a dynamic, milestone-driven restart environment.Job OverviewLeaders in this position (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrument & Control or Support) are responsible for site-wide major maintenance activities. Individuals oversee the management of resources to deliver predictable maintenance activities to achieve objectives for: safety, environmental, quality, schedule, and cost compliance.
