Virtual Vocations Inc
To support construction projects, the full-time remote Estimator will prepare material estimations for home construction, assist sales teams with customer orders, and train sales representatives in estimating techniques. Key responsibilities Estimate the amount of materials needed for home construction according to company policy and local building codes Assist sales staff with customer orders, materials lists, and blueprint reading Review actual vs. estimated materials upon project completion and control expenditures to meet budgetary requirements Required qualifications Associate's Degree in engineering or a related area 1-3 years of experience in construction and building materials Ability to read blueprints and interpret building plans Proficiency in operating networked computer systems and specialized software applications Understanding of measurements and basic math principles
