As a Security Officer Armed Driver Enhanced Part Time in Trenton, OH , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting security‑related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor, contractor, and/or delivery check‑in processes in support of site policies. Report maintenance issues, damaged doors or gates, spills, and other site concerns that could impact daily operations, while maintaining detailed activity logs and shift reports. Minimum Requirements: An armed guard card or license is required. A minimum of 6 months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
