Role Description

The Territory Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This position is responsible for managing and growing a defined sales territory by developing new business while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers.

The Territory Sales Representative will spend a significant amount of time in the field visiting current and prospective customers, presenting HVAC and appliance products and solutions, identifying new sales opportunities, and closing new business.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Conducting in-person sales calls and regularly visiting customers in the field.
• Developing new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers.
• Following up on leads and identifying new potential accounts.
• Presenting HVAC and appliance products and solutions based on customer needs.
• Preparing quotes and following up on open opportunities.
• Coordinating product availability, delivery, and other order details with internal teams.
• Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
• Providing regular updates on territory performance, opportunities, and customer activity.
• Handling basic post-sale customer inquiries and maintaining strong relationships after the sale.
• Participating in company meetings, product trainings, local industry events, trade shows, and promotional activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of field or territory sales experience, preferably with established experience servicing the RNC (Residential New Construction), MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), and multifamily markets.
• HVAC, appliance, building materials, distribution, or related industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and by email.
• Proven ability to develop new accounts while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline, organize daily field activities, and meet or exceed sales targets within an assigned territory.
• Comfortable using basic technology, including CRM systems, email, and mobile applications for sales tracking and communication.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel throughout Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding South Florida market.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education, industry knowledge, or professional sales training is a plus.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently while collaborating with the internal sales and operations teams.
