Territory Sales Representative

TERRITORY SALES REPRESENTATIVE (MUST BE BASED IN EITHER PALM BEACH OR BROWARD)

Playmore Recreational Products + Services is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Territory Sales Representative to grow sales and develop new business within an assigned Florida territory.

This is a hunter sales role. We are looking for someone who enjoys finding new opportunities, opening doors, developing new accounts, and growing a territory — not someone who simply waits for leads to come in.

At the same time, our business is built on relationships. Many of our customers and projects develop over months or years, so the ability to build strong, long-term relationships is critical to success. The right person will combine consistent new-business development with the ability to become a trusted resource to customers and industry partners.

Our customers include municipalities, Parks & Recreation departments, schools, developers, landscape architects, general contractors, HOAs, and other organizations throughout Florida.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prospect and develop new customers and opportunities throughout the assigned territory.
• Identify upcoming playground, park, recreation, school, and development projects.
• Generate new business through calls, emails, in-person visits, networking, referrals, and industry events.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers, customers, landscape architects, developers, contractors, and other industry partners.
• Build long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
• Meet with customers to understand their needs, goals, budgets, and timelines.
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and site visits.
• Work with Playmore's internal team to develop solutions and prepare proposals.
• Present proposals, follow up consistently, negotiate, and close business.
• Develop and execute a sales plan for the territory.
• Maintain an active pipeline of short-, medium-, and long-term opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and follow-up information in HubSpot.
• Continually look for ways to expand Playmore's presence and market share within the territory.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of outside sales, territory sales, business development, or related experience preferred.
• A hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to prospect and generate new business.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
• Self-motivated, competitive, persistent, and comfortable working independently.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organization and follow-up habits.
• Experience managing longer, consultative sales cycles.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities at different stages of the sales process.
• Experience using a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Comfortable traveling throughout the assigned territory and meeting customers in person.
• Valid driver's license.

Experience selling to municipalities, schools, developers, contractors, architects, or other B2B/B2G customers is a plus. Playground and recreation industry experience is not required.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Success in this position means consistently building the pipeline, developing new accounts, strengthening existing relationships, and growing sales within the territory.
