Bookkeeper / Staff Accountant

Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire a Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant in Woodbury, New York (NY). Summary: This client works on QuickBooks for their accounting services group, and offers excellent compensation and benefits, beautiful new offices, a convenient Long Island location and a very exciting, fast-paced culture.

3+ years of solid, hands-on bookkeeping/accounting experience preferably with another CPA or professional services firm
QuickBooks experience is essential
Able to handle Payroll and Sales Taxes
Able to work well independently
Able to work occasional overtime as required, especially during busy season
