Qualifications:

• Active state licensure and credentials for Occupational Therapy
• Experience working as an OT in a school environment preferred
• Solid knowledge of IEP processes and documentation

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ motor, sensory, and adaptive skills to inform individualized goals
• Develop and implement therapy plans to enhance student participation and independence
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support a cohesive learning environment
• Contribute to IEP meetings and document progress according to school and state standards
• Recommend and instruct on assistive devices as needed
• Provide training and support to staff and caregivers regarding occupational therapy techniques
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant policies and timelines
