Precision Inspector - 2nd Shift

Job Description Perform dimensional and functional inspections to ensure materials, components, and assemblies meet engineering and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products Interpret drawings, specs, and quality standards Select and perform appropriate inspection methods and setups Apply GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) for dimensional verification Conduct First Piece and AS9102 First Article Inspections Partner with Engineering on new product inspections Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement Use precision tools (micrometers, comparators, gauges, etc.) Operate and analyze results from CMM equipment Qualifications Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to read engineering drawings Knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement tools CMM experience preferred Familiarity with AS9102 a plus Strong attention to detail What You Bring Expertise in precision inspection and geometric dimensioning Hands‑on experience with inspection tools and CMMs Strong attention to detail and the ability to read complex drawings Team‑first attitude and clear communication skills Problem‑solving mindset with a drive for continuous improvement Hourly Rate Range: $26.00–$33.00 plus 15% 2nd shift differential.
