Job Purpose: The Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various structures, and ensuring high-quality workmanship in compliance with safety and industry standards. This role involves surface preparation, mixing and applying paints, and maintaining tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers or sealers as needed.
• Mix and apply paint, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment to minimize exposure to hazardous materials.
• Maintain and clean painting tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Inspect completed work for quality, touch up as necessary, and collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

Experience Required: High School Education or GED Equivalent
