About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Construction Technology to spearhead the strategic growth and operational performance of its construction technology business. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with dealership objectives and market opportunities. This role requires a leader with a strong background in commercial and financial acumen, capable of driving technology revenue and profitability across various business segments. Key responsibilities include leading market development for a range of technology solutions, expanding recurring revenue streams, and ensuring customer adoption and value. The Vice President will also be responsible for building and leading a high-performing technology organization, establishing cross-functional collaboration, and fostering innovation to maintain a competitive edge. Applicants for the Vice President of Construction Technology position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and have at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in construction equipment, technology, or a related industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business growth, organizational development, and cross-functional initiatives, as well as a strong understanding of construction equipment applications and technology-enabled productivity improvements. Senior leadership experience with major industry players and a background in earthmoving applications, fleet management, and jobsite productivity are highly valued. The role demands an individual with excellent communication, strategic planning, and relationship management skills, who can effectively translate complex technology solutions into clear customer value propositions and measurable business outcomes.
