Safety Specialist

Insight Global is seeking a Safety Specialist II for a leading utility construction and infrastructure services client. This individual will serve as a key safety partner to field operations, driving compliance, promoting safety ownership, and ensuring a strong safety culture across multiple construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep construction safety expertise, experience supporting utility infrastructure work, and the ability to develop and implement proactive safety programs. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, leading incident investigations, developing hazard analyses and safety plans, delivering training, and partnering with operations leadership to mitigate risk and maintain regulatory compliance. Required Skills & Experience

• OSHA 500 Certification (Required)
• Utility construction safety experience
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 Construction Standards
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910 General Industry Standards
• Experience conducting accident investigations and root cause analysis
• Ability to conduct and document routine jobsite safety inspections
• Experience managing EHS efforts on large projects with multiple subcontractors
• Knowledge of underground damage prevention
• Experience with Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA), Daily Job Briefings, and Safety Action Plans
