Registered Nurse, Med Surg Tele – Travel assignment in Plattsburgh, NY. Start date 06/22/2026 for a 4-week contract. Weekly pay range: $2,224-$2,318 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour Night shifts. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for Med Surg Tele patients, including assessment, monitoring, and ongoing care planning
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and operate IV pumps; monitor patient responses and escalate as needed
- Document all clinical observations and interventions in the electronic health record (EPIC) and ensure accurate care coordination
- Support ED Hold patients and participate in float assignments to R5, R6, R7 Tele units as scheduled
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on discharge planning, patient education, and safety protocols
- Maintain unit-based procedures, manage patient flow, and respond to rapid changes in patient condition

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license (New York) or eligibility on file
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Med Surg Tele or a closely related setting
- BLS certification required; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required prior to starting
- CMSRN certification preferred
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years required
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts and float to Tele units as needed
- Prior travel nursing experience is helpful
