We are hiring an experienced Shipping & Receiving Loader / Forklift Operator for a temp-to-hire, full-time position in Victorville , working Monday through Saturday on the day shift . The role involves safely loading and unloading primarily flatbed trailers and handling heavy materials with a forklift. Candidates must have previous flatbed loading/unloading experience, strong forklift skills, and experience safely handling heavy loads of approximately 2,500 lbs. per piece . Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel , are also required.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload flatbed trailers using a forklift.
- Safely and accurately position heavy materials on trailers.
- Assist with receiving, verifying, and documenting shipments.
- Use basic computer systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel for daily shipping and receiving tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Requirements
- Previous flatbed loading and unloading experience required.
- Strong forklift operating experience with heavy loads.
- Experience safely loading and positioning materials on flatbed trailers.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel .
- Strong attention to detail, judgment, dependability, and safety awareness.
