Your Day-to-Day Tasks as a Sheet Metal Fabricator Will Be:

• Fabricate architectural sheet metal products using copper, stainless steel, aluminum, and zinc-coated materials.
• Fabricate custom products including dormers, chimney caps, conductor heads, flashing, and other architectural sheet metal components.
• Use soldering equipment and soldering tools to assemble and fabricate metal products.
• Operate hand shears, soldering irons, de-soldering tools, and other fabrication equipment.
• Set up workstations safely and follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and measurements.
• Manage projects independently from fabrication start-up through final completion.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met.

This Sheet Metal Fabricator Job Requires:

Minimum of 2 years of sheet metal fabrication experience. Experience fabricating copper, stainless steel, aluminum, and zinc-coated metal products. Experience using soldering equipment, soldering irons, de-soldering tools, and hand shears. Ability to work independently and manage projects from start to completion. Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specifications. Ability to accurately use a tape measure. Can lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout the entire shift.
