Role Description The Community Manager is a full‑time, hybrid role based in Geneva, IL, with flexibility for some work‑from‑home arrangements. This role oversees the daily operations of assigned residential and commercial community associations, including coordinating maintenance, enforcing association rules, and ensuring timely completion of work orders. The Community Manager communicates regularly with boards, owners, and vendors, prepares meeting agendas and reports, and supports budgeting and financial review processes. The position involves resolving resident concerns, monitoring property conditions, and collaborating with EMT Construction and other service providers to address repairs and capital projects. The Community Manager maintains accurate records, supports compliance with regulations and association documents, and promotes a positive, professional community experience. Qualifications Experience in community association or property management, including coordinating maintenance, conducting property inspections, and supporting board governance. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with boards, residents, vendors, and internal teams. Basic financial and administrative skills, such as reviewing budgets, understanding association financials, and maintaining organized records. Proficiency with office software and property management systems; ability to learn new tools and processes quickly. Strong problem‑solving, time management, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and follow‑through. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, and to manage multiple communities or projects simultaneously. Knowledge of HOA, condominium, and commercial association operations or related real estate/management experience is preferred.
