Travel RN - Emergency Department

Join our dynamic Emergency Department team in a state-of-the-art facility located in Centennial, CO. Our unit is designed to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment.

Number of Beds: 18

Staffing: 3-5 RNs (2 RNs on day shift, 2-3 RNs on mid shift, 2 RNs on night shift; patient ratios vary based on acuity, typically 4:1)

Type of Equipment: LifePak, Lucus, Philips, GE

EMR: Meditech

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ year of current acute care Emergency Department RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC & ENPC certifications
• Blue Card (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a large hospital setting
• Prior Meditech experience

The following procedures are routinely performed in our unit:

• IV administration
• EKG monitoring
• Foley catheter insertion
• Splint application
• Wound infiltration and care
• Medication administration and patient assessments

This facility features a freestanding ED that has transitioned to a hospital-based ED, complete with increased resources including:

• Respiratory therapy
• On-site clinical supervisors
• Comprehensive lab services with dedicated staff
• Radiology services including CT, MRI, Echo, X-ray, and Ultrasound
