Licensure/Certs: NY State License, AHA BLS, ACLS, ATLS, Board Certified, Epic Experience

Experience: Minimum 2 years recent experience in surgical setting

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive care to surgical patients, including wound care, suturing, and tissue management
• Assist with intraoperative procedures like positioning, closing, and hemostasis
• Monitor and manage patient status during surgical procedures and on the ward
• Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams for patient treatment planning
• Support perioperative activities like rounding, managing orders, and discharge processes
• Work primarily with General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedic patients
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

What You Need

• Valid NY State License and Board Certification
• Minimum 2 years recent surgical experience
• CPR/BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications through AHA or RQI
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to adhere to dress code and safety protocols
